I fell in love with computers in Nigeria, where my mom ran an internet café. I'd watch people from the neighbourhood come in to use these amazing machines, and hop on one myself whenever I got the chance.
When I was eleven my family moved to Canada, and that spark grew into a love of making things with code. As a musician, I think of programming the same way as composing: taking small pieces and turning an idea into something real.

Currently, I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Smile.io, the loyalty and rewards platform for online stores. I work on our developer platform and help bring loyalty into the tools merchants already use, like Shopify Sidekick and Shopify Flow. Much of my work is on how Smile connects with partner apps, and on making our APIs, SDK and docs easy to build on, working closely with product, design and our partners.
